Jackson County Schools provides the opportunity for parents and interested citizens to visit those schools with staffed libraries to preview new library books purchased for the upcoming school year.
Ravenswood and Ripley high schools and middle schools will offer this opportunity during the week preceding the first day of school for students. The books will be on display August 13-19, 2026, on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Those interested in reviewing the new school library books must call the administrator of the respective school and make an appointment before visiting the library.
