The Jackson County Board of Education has approved the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program for county students in grades 9-12. Now students at Ravenswood High School and Ripley High School will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost to parents. This new program will be in effect at the start of the school year on August 24, 2022. All students PK-12 in Jackson County Schools are now participating in this program.

CEP is a federal program which provides free meals to students based upon the number of free and reduced qualified students in the school/district. Continued participation in this program will be based upon those numbers, so it is vital that parents continue to fill out the Free and Reduced Lunch Applications available at www.schoolcafe.com to qualify for this and other available federal benefits such as the P-EBT program.
