A reminder to all Freshmen that Monday August 17 is Macbook Deployment in the RHS library. Deployment will be from 1 pm to 5:30 pm. Please allow 30 minutes for the entire process. Also, we will have our Freshman Orientation on Monday, August 17 at 5:00 pm in the auditorium. We welcome all Freshmen and their families. Other classes are also welcome.

Senior parking spot assignments will be conducted on Monday, August 10 at 9:00 am. Officer Cummings and Mr. Banton will meet with students at the front of the Annex building to assign parking spots. Please try to arrive at 8:45 am so that we can start promptly at 9. Bring your driver's license. You must be a licensed driver with a vehicle to be assigned a spot. Also, if you wish to paint your spot, please bring $10 with you Monday morning.

The class of 2026 is invited to come by the Ripley High School library to pick up yearbooks on Monday, August 3 from 11:00 to 1:00. Extras will be available to purchase that day for $85 cash or check. Bring a pen to sign your friends’ yearbooks and enjoy one last time together before heading off on your next adventure. This is just for recent grads. All current students will receive their yearbooks the first week of school.

This is a reminder that the class of 2027 will have their senior pictures taken in the Ripley High library on Monday, July 13. Students should check their email to see their appointment time. If they have not yet scheduled an appointment, they may still complete the form emailed to them to select a time. Drapes and suits will be provided by Lifetouch.

If you are a student who is entering their senior year, this message is for you. The class of 2027 will have formal senior portraits taken at the Ripley High School library on Monday, July 13. Students must request a time spot using the Google form emailed to them by Mrs. Cox. If students are not able to take their picture on July 13, they will be able to take them at the school in October. For this picture, suit jackets, shirts, ties, and drapes are provided. Students do not need to bring anything, but it is recommended that boys wear a light colored t-shirt and girls wear a camisole so that the drapes and shirts can be worn over top. This picture will be used in the school yearbook, the senior slideshow, and the senior supplement in the newspaper. There is no cost, but families will be given the option to purchase pictures. Please remind your student to check school email over the summer, as Mrs. Cox will send out a finalized schedule for pictures in early July.

Good evening. This is a reminder that tomorrow, May 29, 2026, Jackson County Schools will have a three-hour early dismissal, which is the last day of the school year for all students. If your child rides a bus, it will arrive at the drop-off location 3 hours before the normal drop-off time. As always, you can check the Zonar app to see the exact location of your child's bus at any given time. Please have a safe and wonderful summer.

Good afternoon. Due to inclement weather and for the safety of all students and guests, the 2026 Ripley High School Graduation ceremony will now be held indoors in the gymnasium at 8 pm. Students have been provided 5 tickets for guests in the gym and additional seating will be available in the auditorium. In addition, the ceremony will be livestreamed in the auditorium and graduates will also cross the stage in the auditorium. Guests will be welcomed at 6:30 pm. Handicapped parking and staff parking will be available in the back lot. Graduates will now assemble in the library at 7:30 pm. We thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we seek to provide the best possible Commencement for our students.
